On August 3, 2022, the PRIDE group gave an online presentation entitled “High frequency BDS/GNSS Precise Data Processing” at “The 8th Seismology Algorithms and Procedures Training Course” held at the University of Science and Technology of China. Prof. Jianghui Geng firstly introduced the application of high frequency GNSS in seismology and its advantages. High frequency GNSS can make up for the shortcomings of traditional seismology methods which are insensitive to low frequency seismic signals and has high spatial and temporal resolution, so it has significant advantages in seismology. Jihang Lin introduced the basics of precise point positioning, including the development status of GNSS, the principle of precise point positioning and two application examples in seismology. Jing Zeng introduced the software usage and other related information, explained the precautions when using PRIDE PPP-AR and demonstrated the software usage through examples. After the presentation, the presenters communicated with the live audience and answered their questions about the software and its application in seismology.
