From November 12th to 16th, the 47th plenary conference of the International Organization for Standardization Geographic Information Technical Committee (ISO/TC 211) jointly organized by the National Geomatics Center of China and Wuhan University was held in Wuhan. A delegation of 19 members from the Korean Ministry of Administration and Security and the Korean local self-government group visited Wuhan and our university to learn relevant experience.
On the 13th, the delegation came to visit GNSS Research Center. During the visit, Prof. Geng Jianghui of PRIDELab gave a report entitled “Beidou System and High-precision Positioning” to the Korean delegation, and introduced the Beidou system, high-precision positioning and enhancement system. During the subsequent visit, Prof. Geng also introduced the “GNSS Seismometer” developed by PRIDELab, which aroused the strong interest of the Korean delegation.
