The National Scholarship for Postgraduates is established by the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Finance of the People's Republic of China. It is funded by the central government to award full-time postgraduates with outstanding performance in ordinary colleges and universities (hereinafter referred to as colleges and universities), to develop postgraduate education with Chinese characteristics, to promote the reform of postgraduate training mechanism and to improve the quality of postgraduate training. Since September 1, 2012, Chinese graduate students will be awarded a state scholarship, with 45,000 students each year, including 10,000 doctoral students and 35,000 master students. The national scholarship award standard for doctoral students is 30,000 yuan per year, and that for master students is 20,000 yuan per year. The scholarship is not only conducive to encouraging graduate students to "excel in academic performance, remarkable scientific research ability, outstanding development potential", but also conducive to the state for all walks of life to train a large number of high-quality graduate students, so as to provide a new and powerful support for the implementation of the strategy of "science and education power".

Our research group members will cherish the honor. Under the leadership of Professor Geng, we will continue to make great efforts to study, improve continuously, and get more achievements in scientific research.
