On the morning of July 5, 2020, Dr. Chen Xingyu of the 2016 class successfully passed the defense of his doctoral thesis with an excellent score.

Under the patient guidance of Professor Jianghui Geng, Xingyu completed his thesis entitled "Phase Clock/Bias Estimation and Combination for Precise Point Positioning with Ambiguity Resolution". This thesis was highly praised by the defense committee members. After professor Zhang Qin, the chairman of the defense Committee, read out the results of his defense, Xingyu delivered his own speech, expressing his gratitude to Professor Geng for his tireless instruction and the selfless help of other team members.
