The Demonstration Meeting of the Outline of the Index of the National Key Research and Development Program of China "Research on Temporal and Spatial Characteristics of Deformation Induced by Preparation and Occurrence of Large Earthquakes by Comprehensive Utilization of Space Observation Technology" Was Successfully Held

      On December 28, 2021, the demonstration meeting of the outline of the index of the National Key Research and Development Program of China "Research on Temporal and Spatial Characteristics of Deformation Induced by Preparation and Occurrence of Large Earthquakes by Comprehensive Utilization of Space Observation Technology", led by Wuhan University, was held in Wuhan Junyi Dynasty Hotel in the form of online and offline combination.
      The project team invited Professor Sun Fuping, Professor Wang Qi, researcher Yuan Yunbin, researcher Chen Liangfu, researcher Wang Xiaoqing, researcher Huang Guoman and researcher Li Zhen served as the evaluation expert. Members of participating institutions participated in the demonstration meeting online and offline respectively.
      At the demonstration meeting, the project leader Professor Jiang Weiping introduced the experts and introduced the overall situation of the project to the experts. Focusing on the three sub-projects of "global and regional reference frame establishment and rapid solution technology", "hyperspectral and laser detection remote sensing data seismic application technology", "high-precision three-dimensional deformation field measurement technology and method", the sub-project leaders Professor Geng Jianghui, Qu Chunyan, Li Zhiwei reported on the technical route, technical index, current progress and test scheme of the project.
      Participating experts listened carefully to the report of each topic, analyzed the indicator test outline in detail, and put forward questions and valuable suggestions. The experts proposed that the unity of the sub-topics should be more reflected, pointed out the normative problems in terminology, suggested that the boundary conditions of the test should be supplemented, the terminology norms should be revised, and the rigor of the plan should be strengthened.
      Based on discussions with experts, the research team fully absorbed useful suggestions and revised the index test outline on site. The expert group formed the final review opinion: (1) The test outline complied with the specifications, and the index test content was complete; (2) The test method is scientific reasonable and has sufficient basis, which can effectively support the acceptance of the project. The expert group signed and agreed that the project test outline passed the review. This meeting focused on the deployment of project testing work, established a good foundation for project acceptance, and is of great significance to the advancement and completion of the project.
