On July 29, 2023, the "2023 National College Students' Surveying and Mapping Discipline Innovation and Entrepreneurship Intelligence Competition" was successfully held, organized by the Education Work Committee of the Chinese Society of Surveying and Mapping and hosted by Central South University. In this competition, a total of 380 participants from across the country participated in the Surveying and Mapping Skills Competition (Surveying and Mapping Programming Competition Professional Group). Under the guidance of Professor Geng Jianghui, undergraduate student Fu Bingchen of the research group won the special prize in the professional group of the Surveying and Mapping Programming Design Competition. Professor Geng Jianghui was awarded the "Excellent Instructor" in this competition (Surveying and Mapping Skills Competition).
