Wang Feng, a 2023 Ph.D. student and a member of the PrideLab, has been honored with the First Prize for Academic Innovation for Graduate Students for the academic year of 2022-2023.
The prize is awarded by Wuhan University to graduate students who show originality, excellence, and representativeness in their scientific research. The First Prize for Academic Innovation is granted annually to up to 80 graduate students of Wuhan University who are enrolled in the university and within 2 years of graduation. The quotas are distributed according to the academic departments, and the prize amount is RMB 50,000 per student per year. The prize aims to motivate graduate students to conduct original research, cultivate scientific spirit, inspire innovative thinking, produce high-level and representative scientific research results, actively participate in the construction of "double first-class", serve the national innovation-driven development strategy, promote academic innovation and social contribution, and improve the quality of graduate training.
The PrideLab congratulates Wang Feng on his achievement and thanks him for his contribution and dedication. Under the supervision of Prof. Geng Jianghui, the PrideLab will continue to study diligently, make progress, and improve its skills, and strive for more scientific research accomplishments.
